First Advantage Holds Annual Shred Day
First Advantage Bank held its annual Shred Day Saturday, June 23 at the Wilma Rudolph Blvd. location. Shred Day is an opportunity for the community to bring sensitive documents containing personal information to be shredded and properly disposed of on site.
Several truckloads of shredded paper were accumulated throughout the day, and the bank provided games, door prizes, and refreshments for the participants.
“This year we feel that the Shred Day is especially important in light of the hacking of the school system,” Kara Allison Marketing Manager, said. “We just want to remind our customers to be mindful of their identity.”
First Advantage also offers a free identity restore program with all of their checking accounts.
